Most goals without a power-play score - 2007 - 2024 (NLL)

When I worked in the NHL, I used to like to look at who piled up some goals without the benefit of a power-play goal. I always figured that such players represented untapped offensive talent.

Here's the list of the leaders in the NLL from 2023-24:

Name - Team - Goals
Sam LeClair - Philadelphia - 19
Riley Loewen - Vancouver - 15
Aaron Woods - Halifax - 14
Josh Dawick - Toronto - 13
Zach Miller - Georgia - 13

Taggart Clark - New York - 13
Ryan Sheridan - Panther City - 13
Kyle Killen - Vancouver - 12
Nathan Grenon - Albany - 12
Ian MacKay - Buffalo - 12
Mike Messenger - Saskatchewan - 12
Connor Kirst - Las Vegas - 12

And here are the leaders since 2007, as LeClair cracks the top 20:

Kevin Buchanan - New England - 2017 - 25

Matthew Dinsdale - Saskatchewan - 2018 - 23

Bill McGlone - Chicago - 2007 - 22
Zed Williams - Georgia - 2018-19 - 22
Kevin Buchanan - New England - 2015 - 21

Most Bandits goals in three consecutive games (1992 - 2023)

Buffalo's end-of-the-season explosion of goals - 57 in three games - a few years ago prompted this check of the record book. It turned out it didn't crack the Top Ten. All of these numbers come from the first decade of the Bandits' play:

Goals - Dates
69 - 12/30/00 to 1/20/01
69 - 2/28/92 to 3/13/92 (three straight 20-goal games)
68 - 3/7/92 to 3/21/92
67 - 2/10/96 to 3/2/96
66 - 2/24/96 to 3/9/96
65 - 2/8/92 to 3/7/92 (three straight 20-goal games)
64 - 1/20/01 to 2/3/01
63 - 2/3/01 to 2/16/01
62 - 1/6/01 to 1/27/01
60 - 1/25/92 to 2/28/92

And we have to check the lowest three-game totals by the Bandits too, and here's a surprise. In a season that saw Buffalo go 14-4, the team only scored 22 goals in a three-game stretch (going 1-2 along the way). That ties the team's all-time record:

Goals  - Dates
22 - 3/18/23 to 4/1/23
22 - 3/21/14 to 3/29/14
22 - 4/12/14 to 4/19/14
23 - 4/7/07 to 4/14/07
25 - 3/23/13 to 4/6/13
25 - 3/31/07 to 4/13/07
26 - 3/15/14 to 3/23/14
26 - 3/9/13 to 3/23/13
27 - 4/9/11 to 4/23/11
27 - 1/9/10 to 1/22/10
27 -  3/2/08 to 4/12/08

Bandits' Margin of Result by Year

I received a note on X.com from a fan who said all of the close games early in 2023-24 were killing him.  I went to work. And he was on to s...
