NLL Special Teams Opportunities (2009-18)

Here's another way of looking at special teams, stolen from hockey:

Does a team have more power plays than penalty kills? If so, the team must be doing something right. Here are the rankings for 2018, in which Colorado sure knew how to get power plays:

Team - PP - PK - Diff.
Colorado - 92 - 65 - +27
Saskatchewan - 87 - 72 - +15
Toronto - 75 - 65 - +10
Calgary - 86 - 79 - +7
Georgia - 73 - 67 - +6
Buffalo - 85 - 87 - -2
Rochester - 67 - 80 - -13
Vancouver - 62 - 80 - -18
New England - 48 - 80 - -32

The five best figures in 2009-18:

Team - Year - PP - PK - Diff.
Calgary - 2009 - 113 - 71 - +42
Toronto - 2010 - 94 - 56 - +38
New York - 2008 - 142 - 105 - +37
Colorado - 2011 - 100 - 68 - +32
Edmonton - 2015 - 103 - 75 - +28

And the five worst figures, including a team from 2017-18:
